42 undergraduate students in the College of Arts and Sciences will engage in research or creative activity with a faculty mentor this summer.

Students receive stipends of $2,400 from the Undergraduate Creative Activities and Research Experience (UCARE) Program to engage in projects spanning the humanities, sciences, and social sciences for 20 hours per week. In August, they will present posters at a virtual campus research symposium.

They can also participate in the Big Ten Academic Alliance’s Graduate Education Discovery Program.
