Why did you select your major(s) and minor(s)? Were there any experiences that convinced you to declare?
Coming into college, I was a biological sciences major. In the fall semester of my sophomore year I started volunteering for a family grief center. Mourning Hope helped me realize that I wanted to pursue the route of psychology to become a counselor.
Do you have research experience?
Currently, I am involved in the Adolescent Development Lab with Dr. Lisa Crockett. Currently, we are working on a project that is examining the participants' most impactful experience, and how that has affected their life following the event.
What are you involved in on campus?
I serve on the College of Arts and Sciences Student Advisory Board, as an undergraduate research assistant in the Adolescent Development Lab, as a Teaching Assistant for PSYC 100.
What are your plans after graduation?
I plan on going to graduate school to get my master's degree.
