Why you chose your major
I was always curious as a kid, and weather was something that really fascinated me.
Favorite course
Physics 211: This course changed the way I saw everyday occurrences by understanding what actually happens versus what I thought made sense before.
Research or internship experience
This past summer I participated in the Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program. I was at Penn State for 10 weeks and got to work with their faculty and graduate students on a research project.
Other involvement
AMS (American Meteorological Society), SEAS (Students of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences), UCARE Research, Intramurals.
Why you chose Nebraska
I was looking for a large university, and the campus, faculty members, and community seemed like a good fit for me.
