Political Science, Global Studies
Broad Brook, CT
Why you chose your major
I have always been fascinated by anthropology. Once I discovered forensic anthropology, I knew that's what I wanted to study and do post graduation.
I chose my minors because the political and global spheres and all of the intricacies of both are areas I enjoy exploring.
Favorite and/or most impactful course
The class that has made the biggest impact on me was Writing and Communities with Dr. Harding Thornton. This class has helped me be a more introspective reader and writer when it comes to not only my writing, but when exploring and reading other works in a variety of genres.
Research or internship experience
I have not yet been involved in research or internships, but I do plan on getting involved in a few opportunities that I have seen.
I am a member of Sustain UNL and a member of AnthroGroup (of which I am the current sitting President).
Why you chose Nebraska
Nebraska has wonderful opportunities for undergraduates in terms of academics, as well as research and career experience.
