Leadership and connections

Leadership and connections

Student organizations, learning communities, and honor societies offer opportunities to connect with peers, learn from experts, and lead.

Two groups represent the college, have access to the dean, plan college-wide events and help shape college initiatives.

  • Student Ambassadors promote awareness of Arts and Sciences academic programs and activities to prospective students and parents.
  • Student Advisory Board is a liaison between students and the college‚Äôs deans, faculty and staff, representing student interests on college curriculum and appeal committees.

Campus-wide, Student Involvement supports over 500 registered student organizations (RSOs). Nearly every department in the college has at least one. Search organizations using NvolveU, ask your Major Advisor or the Academic and Career Advising Center about them, or start a new one.

Research with faculty to engage your curiosity, practice innovation and discovery, utilize your creativity, and connect with world class faculty as mentors. UCARE undergraduates work with nationally and internationally renowned faculty, honing and refining valuable research skills.
