Favorite and/or most impactful course

ENGL-151H was my first English course here and it made me appreciate the subject at a whole new level as it made me declare a second major in English with a concentration in Literacy and Critical Theory. CHEM-109 has also been a really fun course to be in as the content we covered was interesting to learn about and the class structure was a good introduction to how college lectures are set up.

Research or internship experience

I currently work in the Auchtung Microbiology Lab on Innovation Campus where I am currently working with bacterium colonies in the intestinal mucin linings.

Other involvement

I am a member of the UNL Microbiology Club.

Why you chose Nebraska

I chose UNL for their advanced undergraduate research programs and variety of major/minor options.
