Why you chose your major
I really enjoy new challenging concepts and they are never in short supply with math. The satisfaction of getting really good at applying these concepts is what made me choose Mathematics.
Favorite course
Math 106 - I really enjoyed Calculus I because it was an amazing interactive experience. I was able to overcome so many challenges by working together with my peers. I loved the material, I loved my professor, and I still keep in touch with a lot of the friends I made in that class. Math 106 is why I'm a Math Major today.
Other involvement
I'm a committee member for the Math Club and I am a counselor for the Math Resource Center.
Why you chose Nebraska
I originally chose UNL because for me it was close to home and I know the town well. UNL is also very affordable, while still offering ample opportunities and a wide variety of options.
