Why you chose your major

I took a class in high school that initially got me interested, but after I took a couple classes in college I knew that it was perfect for me! I love learning about why people do the things we do!

Favorite course

EDPS 320, Positive Psychology: it was fascinating to learn of different ways that are scientifically proven to lead happier and healthier lives! The class was equally educational and fun!

Research, education abroad, or internship experience

I was able to participate in UCARE, which is an undergraduate research program that pairs you up with a faculty member. You get to work on a project with them and get a lot of one on one time and hands on learning experiences. It was amazing and I learned so much more than I thought I was going to!

Other involvement

I'm a member of the Nebraska Cheer Squad and it has been the most rewarding experience! It's amazing to be able to a part of a team where we spend an equal amount of time on the field and also reaching out to the community. I've been able to meet so many wonderful and kind people through the program and it's been heartwarming to get to spread a little love while also being able to do something I love!

Why you chose Nebraska

There was never a second choice for me! I've grown up close to Lincoln and I always knew that I wanted to be a Husker! My older brother attended school here and my parents met here (they actually met in Love library so that's extra cute) so I never had a hard decision to make! I've loved the traditions and atmosphere of Lincoln, so I always knew this was going to be my home!

Student Ambassadors group

Student Ambassadors are undergraduate students who talk to prospective students, parents, alumni, and the general public about the college.
