Why you chose your major

I was in an intro to psychology course my second semester freshman year, and I really enjoyed the course work and professors so I decided to declare psychology as my major.

Favorite course

Classics 181 because I had the BEST professor who taught the coursework in an overwhelmingly fun and passionate way. I love classical mythology, so to have a professor who loves it even more than I do and teach it in such a fun way made this course the best course I have ever taken in college.

Other involvement

I am involved in Greek Life, Greek Ambassadors, UNL Honors Program, FOCUS Greek, and FCLA. I am a member of the Freshman Campus Leadership Associates group on campus. This is a group that teaches freshman how to become better leaders on campus, and throughout the other areas of our lives and activities. We volunteered many times a semester at Lighthouse in Lincoln.

Why you chose Nebraska

I chose UNL because even though it was a large campus, it had a small campus feel. The professors I talked to were all super passionate about their classes and coursework which made me excited to learn more about what they taught. I also loved that UNL was a Big Ten University because when you see a UNL degree you know they have received the best education available!

Student Ambassadors group

Student Ambassadors are undergraduate students who talk to prospective students, parents, alumni, and the general public about the college.
