Why you chose your major
I chose a psychology major because I have always loved learning about how the human mind works, and why people do the things we do. To me, there is nothing more interesting than the complexity of the human mind.
Favorite course
My favorite course at UNL has been the American Sign Language sequence. Taking ASL classes opened my eyes to a whole new community of people, all the while building a relationship with a fantastic professor and gaining a valuable skill that will set me apart in my future endeavors.
Research or internship experience
I did a summer internship at Boys Town home campus in Omaha, NE that involved working with youth for two months. As interns, we worked with the youth in summer work activities to build positive life skills and to continue developing behaviors that will be beneficial to them further in life.
Why you chose Nebraska
I chose UNL because when I visited the campus I felt at home and I knew that there would be an abundance of opportunities to help me find the life path I wanted to pursue.
