Why you chose your major
Languages and cultures have always fascinated me and these majors allow me to expand my interests and abilities.
Favorite course
Spanish linguistics-it's amazing how similar the origins of Spanish and English are! If there was something that confused the class in Spanish, the teacher would give the English equivalent, which was much easier!
Research or internship experience
I got to participate in a Service Learning experience as a Home for Girls in Peru where I helped them with homework and played games with them.
Other involvement
Women's Club Soccer.
Why you chose Nebraska
It had everything I wanted to study, whereas I would have had to sacrifice one or more of my majors/minors at a lot of smaller schools.
Student Ambassadors are undergraduate students who talk to prospective students, parents, alumni, and the general public about the college.
