Why you chose your major

I was always very interested in Biology, and I like how the major allows me to take a wide variety of courses related to biology.

Favorite and/or most impactful course

Evolution. The Professor (Dr. Zink) was very passionate about the subject and made all the topics really interesting, as well as showed us how to use some of the programs for creating phylogenetic trees and analyzing DNA.

Other involvement

I am an RA in Eastside Suites.

Why you chose Nebraska

I learned of UNL from a letter in the mail, and after researching the campus and the great programs available I knew it would be a good fit for me.
