Why did you select your major(s) and minor(s)? Were there any experiences that convinced you to declare?

I selected my major because it was something I thought might be interesting, while allowing me to have time to study other areas (my minors) while still graduating in 4 total years. I was in an interesting situation, because I changed majors after the first semester of my sophomore year.

What is your favorite course you have taken from your program(s)?

I really liked Science in History, because it provided context to all the science information I was learning, and showed how it was important and mattered.

Who have been some of your strongest mentors or role models here?

Kristen Aldrich has helped me immensely to learn how to improve myself professionally, and to best sell myself when applying for internships, and in the future, jobs.

Have you had an internship/job?

I currently work in the Office of the Chancellor as a student intern. I have been successful at it due to my involvement on campus, which has improved my organizational, interpersonal, leadership, and public speaking skills.

What are you involved in on campus?

CASSAB (CAS Student Advisory Board, CAS Ambassadors, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, Cornhusker Marching Band, Big Red Singers

What are your plans after graduation?

I intend to go out in the workforce, but am currently undecided on what exactly I want to do. After a year or two, I intend to go back to graduate school to further my education.
