“Camilla is the project manager for the multi-institutional Mathematics Teacher Education Partnership (MTEP) grant. I serve as one of the senior personnel for this grant and thus have worked closely with Camilla on a number of grant related projects. Camilla is extremely thorough, inquisitive, and thoughtful in everything she does. In particular, I teamed with Camilla to analyze and code interviews. Her work was always outstanding. I appreciated her insight and her willingness to provide the research support needed to complete our analysis. Currently, in addition to her organizational work for our research group, she is working on a joint manuscript. Again, her research, insight, and organization is superb. “Camilla carries out her role of CSMCE research scientist with efficiency, professionalism, and attention to detail. She is an attentive project manager who always works hard to support research teams in staying on track, whether she's scheduling meetings with partners across multiple time zones or facilitating work among teammates with different communication styles. Camilla is eager to jump in when something needs to be done and completes tasks in a timely manner. As someone who also works as a project manager in the CSMCE, I have had the privilege of mutually exchanging project management strategies and knowledge with Camilla, and as a result, we have been able to optimize management of the CSMCE's many projects. “I have had the pleasure of working with Camilla for about a year. She is currently a research scientist and project manager of two NSF-funded research projects that I am a part of, including one which I am PI. Camilla has demonstrated that she is extremely detail-oriented when keeping track of research processes and planning action steps for projects. She is very organized and has introduced AI-supported note-taking in our meetings and subsequent email messages to make sure that everyone stays well-informed. She is constantly attending professional development workshops and learning new skills and organizational tools in her own time to improve the efficiency of our work. Camilla was also a project manager of an NSF-funded project that ended last spring, during which she created a linked data directory so that everyone could easily access the appropriate data for analysis and propagation. On top of this, although working remotely, Camilla participates in relational activities in our Center, like semi-monthly lunch gatherings and book club meetings, so that we have a strong community and sense of trust in our group. She tracks the many disparate tasks on my project, solves challenges and accomplishes many tasks in a small amount of time. Shortly after she started working with me in the fall of 2025 we had to put together a workshop with many busy people. She ordered the food, supplies, parking passes, and managed the registration. She designed a beautiful poster to recruit people and a tabletop sign. She weeks with me weekly and in one hour we get more done that I could do in several hours alone, and she makes the process delightful. She is an outstanding project manager who has quickly become a vital asset. She quickly grasps the bigger picture goals and helps me figure out how to reach them - I rarely have to explain specific steps.
