Office Associate
Department of Psychology
“Samantha has gone above and beyond her job in our PhD Clinical Psychology Training Program. Since joining our office, Sam has taken on additional and important responsibilities. She warmly welcomes and schedules clients within our in-house training clinic where we treat students and community members with mental health challenges. Because of her meticulous and reliable work habits, we elevated her responsibilities to include being responsible for invoicing over 20 outside practicum placement sites where our students receive additional training. This responsibility is very important because it is the main source of stipend for our students. Sam has excelled at her work with this added task. It is also important for her to maintain strong relationships with the administrative staff of the community agencies (e.g., LRC, State Probation, Madonna Rehab Hospital). As our program evolves, we have plans to add responsibilities to Sam's repertoire. As the director of the program, I view Sam as a valuable member of our team. Her contributions are highly important, and we (as a faculty) want to acknowledge this contribution by nominating her for an applause award!”
