An Applause for

Tim Ferguson

Network Manager
College of Arts and Sciences Tech Support Group

November 2017

“Keeping a calling/data entry lab of over a dozen computers, Tim is crucial in keeping BOSR running. Tim works with us closely and always makes sure our IT/computer needs are met and systems are up-todate. He responds promptly to any IT requests and has shown he is dedicated to working closely with our software vendors ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently. He also supports our full-time staff and always makes sure we have what we need to carry-out our work successfully. I understand that he not only does this for BOSR, but for the REACH Lab and the rest of the Sociology Department as well. I’m very grateful to have Tim support our department for all the extraordinary work that he does!”

“Tim does an outstanding job assisting us with our IT needs. At BOSR we encounter many unique or time sensitive IT needs. Tim is always ready and willing to assist us when something comes up. His reliability and helpfulness has no parallel, so there is never a worry when Tim is on the job. I can name several instances where his outstanding work ethic has saved the day. Please give him an Applause!”

“Tim Ferguson is such an amazing asset to the College, and especially to BOSR. We throw a lot Tim’s ways. Sometimes we have a lot that needs to be done just as clean up and other times we have very urgent requests that keep BOSR operating. Tim always tackles our issues with urgency and professionalism, and yes, has tackled these issues during evening and weekend hours without complaint. Tim is also very proactive in maintenance of our systems. He is the first IT person I have worked with that has taken such a vested interest in keeping BOSR’s IT systems healthy. I know we avoid a lot of IT “fires” because of Tim’s diligence. I hear other colleagues frequently complaining about the IT resources they have available. I am always beyond pleased to know during these conversations that BOSR has Tim.”
