Backup and recovery services

The college recognizes how important your data is, and we would like to provide data backup and recovery services for those interested in protecting the data on your local computer.

We offer two solutions to keep your data protected from hard drive or other device failures. Storage must be purchased at a rate of $1.20/GB/year in chunks of 50GB.

1. Hourly Script Backups
   a script runs on your computer every hour to transfer your local files to a secure, off-site server.
2. Redirect User Folders to Server (Windows Users)
   This will seamlessly connect your desktop and documents folders to a secure server, where hourly snapshots are taken and stored securely off-site. This eliminates the need to spend money on local storage because your desktop and documents folders reside on a networked server.
