Five students in the College of Arts and Sciences are among twenty senior students have been selected as University of Nebraska–Lincoln homecoming royalty finalists.
The royalty winners will be elected by the student body in an online vote Oct. 2 and 3. They will be crowned Oct. 5 at halftime of the Nebraska vs. Rutgers football game, which kicks off at 3 p.m. in Memorial Stadium.

- Elizabeth Smith, philosophy, and classics and religious studies
- Sophi Throener Rodriguez, history and Spanish
- Palmer Wright, biological sciences
