Randa's favorite part of the Nebraska Honors Program is how it helped her step out of her comfort zone and provided her with the opportunities and connections to do so successfully. She was especially grateful for the opportunity to serve as an Honors Peer Mentor:
“Being involved with the Peer Mentoring program was very rewarding. I was able to help students with finding resources around campus and be able to provide them with information on opportunities around campus.”
As Randa graduates from UNL and prepares for medical school in the future, she shared this advice for younger Honors students:
“Try not to compare yourself to other students, just focus on your path and be involved on campus.”
