Major: Psychology
Zuha Qadeer is a 4th year Nebraska Honors Program student majoring in psychology. Last spring, she was a part of the inaugural cohort of the Intern Foundry program, an internship program co-sponsored by the University Honors Program that allows students to engage with nonprofits and purpose-driven organizations. During IF's 15-week, paid spring semester internship, students have opportunities to meet local community leaders to learn about their experiences and organizations in order to gain a better sense of professional identity.
This year, Zuha is one of the student intern coordinators for the IF program, which is accepting applications now until October 14, and she encourages you to apply!
"As an intern for IF last year, I was able to learn many valuable skills, meet many wonderful people, and was exposed to new pathways in community-riven work. The IF program was a wonderful gateway into developing myself as a professional and gave me the opportunity to be hired through The Foundry to now coordinate the program for Honors students this year!"
