Model UN to host first Pan-Nebraska conference Nov. 7

November 6, 2015

Model United Nations of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will host the first-ever Pan-Nebraska Collegiate Model UN.

Students from UNL's group, as well as University of Nebraska-Kearney, Hastings College and Creighton University, will take part in a simulation similar to what the United Nations does.

“We wanted to create more opportunities for our members to experience what it’s like to be a part of an international organization that can make important global changes,” senior Ashley Kunz, president of the organization, said. “It also is a way to create camaraderie between schools and students.”

“This is a really nice time to see how Model UN and undergraduate education has taken off for UNL,” club director and political science professor Courtney Hillebrecht said.
