New student organization brings Indian culture to UNL

When two University of Nebraska-Lincoln students noticed a lack of knowledge of Indian culture on campus, they decided to take matters into their own hands.

Anjali Siri Renukunta, a junior microbiology major, and Roshan Bengali, a junior physics and math major, co-founded UNL’s Undergraduate Indian Student Association this fall.

"We wanted to make an all-inclusive community of people to help spread and introduce people to our culture," Bengali said.
