The Nebraska Summer Research Symposium will take place Aug. 12 in the Nebraska Union.
Undergraduate students from UNL and other institutions across the country and around the globe will present their summer research and creative activities in a poster session from 1-3 p.m.
Participants in the symposium include students from a variety of research programs housed at UNL, including the UCARE Program, the Nebraska Summer Research Program, which is a consortium of NSF-funded research experiences for undergraduates and other summer research opportunities programs, the McNair Scholars Program, the Nebraska Center for Materials and Nanoscience STEM Program, the Nebraska Center for Energy Sciences Research and the Northwest Agricultural and Forestry University of China exchange program.
More than 175 student researchers and scholars are expected to present their work.
Students, faculty and staff are invited to attend the poster session and learn more about the outstanding work that UNL and other affiliated students have undertaken this summer.
