“Olivia Wilson has worked as a student worker in Psychology since May, 2013. During this time, she quickly learned the “UNL way” of doing things, from generating registration codes, managing room calendars, handling intricate copy jobs, to investigating and e-mailing students about lost property that was turned in. As quickly as Olivia learned all this, she was just as efficient, effective and confident in training all new student workers—she’s our student trainer now! Olivia also has that great work ethic that we all look for in staff; she’s the one student worker that I know will accomplish whatever task I give to her. In addition to her work here in Psychology, Olivia also juggles two other jobs, as well as being a member of a sorority, Scarlet Guard, and a recipient of scholarships that require scholastic and extra-curricular excellence. I cannot find all the words that would justly exemplify all that Olivia does for our Department. I am very happy to call her one of our best teammates! She so deserves an Ovation!”

“It is a pleasure to work with Olivia. She is smart, dependable, and fun to be around. She gives the kind of first impression for students and visitors to the Psychology Department that every department/college at UNL hopes to provide. We depend on Olivia to correctly answer questions in person and on the phone. Tasks assigned to our student workers, such as making copies, can be mundane. Olivia consistently gets it done without complaint. When difficult or time-sensitive projects come up, we all agree “let’s ask Olivia to do it.” These projects always get done accurately and on time. Please thank Olivia with an Ovation!”

“Olivia has been one of the best student workers we have had in the Psychology Department for at least 10 years. She is always willing to do the less glamorous work and does it with a smile on her face. She is friendly and very reliable. You can give her a project to do with little direction and know she will complete it...most of the time better than you had anticipated. Olivia definitely deserves the Ovation.”
