Why you chose your major
I have always been interested in all things politics and law related so it was only natural to me to go into Political Science. As for my minors, Spanish and Criminal Justice, these are areas I love and have experience in from high school and wanted to keep that passion going!

Favorite and/or most impactful course
Philosophy 110! This class was very challenging but also eye opening. As I am on the Pre-Law Track, this consists of studying for the LSAT Exam for admission into Law School. A great part of this exam includes thinking about how to solve situations and obstacles logically, and I found that philosophy did just that for me. During the time I took this course, I also took a practice LSAT exam and noticeably scored higher on the logical reasonings sections than other sections of the exam.

Other involvement
I am currently the Secretary and Stroll Captain for Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Inc! With my exec position, I manage everyone's files and do a lot of behind-the-scenes work. This position has taught me the importance of being detail oriented. As for my chair position, as Stroll Captain, I have the duty of arranging practices for my sorority and providing weekly refreshers on strolls during every chapter meeting. With being a member of a service based Greek letter organization, I have over 75+ volunteer hours from the year 2025 alone and have been honored with being the member with the most completed service hours for the fall 2025 semester.
I am also a member of the Pre Law Club!

Why you chose Nebraska
UNL is close to home, Grand Island, and I was offered a great scholarship! Lots of my friends also attend this college so it was nice having those relationships nearby. I crave certainty and comfortability, and Nebraska gives me just that.

Student Ambassadors are undergraduate students who talk to prospective students, parents, alumni, and the general public about the college.
