Why you chose your major
I want to work in the state department so global awareness and language is important.
Favorite and/or most impactful course
Jesus A Global History was the most impactful class I took, the professor was one of the best I've had. He cared about the students, and fostered engagement in class that was very relevant to the course.
Research or internship experience
I had an internship with the UNL office of Global Partnerships & Initiatives. Through my internship I was able to learn more about international relations and diplomacy by sitting in on meetings between foreign diplomats and university officials. I was also able to expand my own portfolio by writing international student spotlight articles.
Other involvement
Acacia fraternity, I am a CAST peer mentor, I am currently an intern at Lincoln Literacy
Why you chose Nebraska
It is the best university in the state, and I get in state tuition.
Student Ambassadors are undergraduate students who talk to prospective students, parents, alumni, and the general public about the college.
