Why you chose your major
I think Math and History will provide two very different ways to think about problems which will be helpful in law school. Math brings in the more logical side while history brings in the more emotive and qualitative side.
Favorite and/or most impactful course
I really enjoyed my Roman History Class. I got to learn about all the different forms of government that ruled over Ancient Rome. The rise and fall of governments show the weaknesses and strengths of governments and can be applied to the styles of government we see today.
Research or internship experience
I have not done research or any internships yet just customer service and part-time jobs at Walmart and Barnes & Noble.
Other involvement
I am on the UNL debate and mock trial teams. Both of these activities allow me to improve my articulation and argumentation skills in public settings.
Why you chose Nebraska
It was the most affordable option out of all the schools I got into, and it was close to friends and family.
Student Ambassadors are undergraduate students who talk to prospective students, parents, alumni, and the general public about the college.
