Graduating from Nebraska means
graduating from a university and a program that have tirelessly supported me over the past four years. Thanks to Nebraska, I'll be entering my professional career well-prepared, confident, and passionate about the work I'll be doing.

Transformational moments
Throughout my time at Nebraska, I've been fortunate enough to have had countless experiences that have truly formed the kind of person I am. Most notably, I spent the majority of my time at Nebraska volunteering with Girls Code Lincoln, a local nonprofit that hosts technology clubs for young girls with the hope of closing the gender gap in STEM fields. I began volunteering at the organization's weekly clubs as a freshman, where the passion and eagerness of the students shone through. Knowing I wanted to help guide the organization to reach more girls, I joined the leadership team as the Director of Volunteers, where I remained for the next three years. In my time with Girls Code Lincoln, I've grown as a leader and communicator, and my desire to encourage young women to pursue careers in STEM has only grown; I'm extremely grateful for the support I had in seeking a career in technology and mathematics, and I want to extend the support to future generations.

After graduation, I am most looking forward to...
applying all that I've learned at UNL to my professional career, and using my skills to effect positive change and social good.

The best thing about being a Husker is...
the community of students and supportive faculty.

Thank you
I want to thank my roommate of three years, Leah Olson, for all of the impact she's had on me in my time in college. Leah is genuinely such a light to everyone around her, and she's been a tireless voice of reason and encouragement to me through the countless ups and downs of college. From pushing me to find faith in God, to helping me understand my passions, to supporting me as I grew, to encouraging me to seek out various leadership opportunities, Leah has been my biggest advocate, best friend, and constant encouragement. While pushing me to grow, she's also taught me to take myself a little less seriously and to make time for fun in my life.
