From
Lincoln, NE

Why you chose your major
I've always loved humans and asking questions- so the combination of my majors/minor set me up for success to ask questions and find answer to understand the human body better.

Favorite and/or most impactful course
Organic Chemistry! It was in this class where I learned how to actually study and gained the confidence to ask questions to the TAs/Professors/Students. This class really challenged me to learn a lot and go out of my comfort zone.

Research or internship experience
I worked in research for 3.5 years (since I was a freshman). Over the course of that time I've worked with both yeast and algae in 3 separate labs. I have one publication in the works, won 1 award for my research,  and have made many friends (both near and far) along the way!

Other involvement
NHRI and research (currently) Daily Nebraskan, ballroom dancing club, pre-genetic counseling club (previously)

Why you chose Nebraska
It was the best place for me to go for an education while still receiving support.

Student Ambassadors are undergraduate students who talk to prospective students, parents, alumni, and the general public about the college.
