Why you chose your major
I wanted to go into medicine and biology opens a wide range of opportunities that make it possible. I chose a Spanish minor because there are a large number of Spanish speaking patients here in the US and it is important to give them the same quality of care.

Favorite and/or most impactful course
Span 205 because I got to speak Spanish in a medical setting which has given me confidence to speak in a more professional environment and was a unique opportunity.

Other involvement
I am the treasurer of the UNL Spanish club. I am also involved at the Newman Center, as well as intramural sports. I also officiate intramural soccer.

Why you chose Nebraska
I have had family who has gone here and I’m Nebraska to my core. 

Student Ambassadors are undergraduate students who talk to prospective students, parents, alumni, and the general public about the college.
