Why you chose your major
I chose my major because I have always been interested in answering the 'why?' behind the actions of others, especially in the criminal sense. This leads into my minors, which are criminal justice and sociology. I chose these as my minors because they help build upon the topics of psychology while offering different theories and ways of thinking.

Favorite and/or most impactful course
The class that had the biggest impact on me was Brain & Behavior (PSYC273) because for me, it was the first time that science and anatomy applied in psychology. It was a course that challenged me to work hard and to really understand the brain in complex ways, which is so important in psychology.

Research or internship experience
While I haven't had any research experience yet, I am currently looking to get started! I am also planning on studying abroad next fall in Greece!

Other involvement
I have an on-campus job at the UNL Children's Center!

Why you chose Nebraska
I decided to come to Nebraska because of the welcoming atmosphere. Being an out of state student and not knowing a single person at a new school can be hard, but the students and staff made for the easiest adjustment my freshman year, and I can't imagine myself being anywhere else!

Student Ambassadors are undergraduate students who talk to prospective students, parents, alumni, and the general public about the college.
