Why you chose your major
I have always had an interest in understanding behaviors and why people think the way that they do. I hope to one day be able to help people work through their problems.
Favorite and/or most impactful course
I really enjoyed PSYC 263 it was an introduction to cognitive processing. This class was so interesting and really made me think about how our brains process information that we receive.
Research or internship experience
I am currently working as an intern at Family Service Lincoln and have such a fun time working with kids.
Other involvement
I am a second year resident assistant, I'm a member of UNL Psi Chi/psychology club, and I am in UNL Swim Club.
Why you chose Nebraska
The first time I came to visit UNL it instantly felt like home. The campus is beautiful and everyone was so friendly. The school also offers a lot of opportunities and extracurricular activities.
