Why you chose your major

I have always wanted to pursue a career in healthcare to care for others.

Favorite and/or most impactful course

General Chemistry, it taught me the difficulties that I would face in my college career and the resources on campus to help with those. It taught me the study techniques I have utilized the rest of my college career, and continue to use throughout the remainder.

Research or internship experience

I am involved in Dr. Nicole Sexton's Research Lab, I have learned many different lab techniques that I will continue to use throughout my college career and possibly carry on with me after college. I have learned time management skills, communications skills, and other very important life skills from being involved in the lab as it is a time commitment.

Other involvement

I am involved in pre-PA club, TRIO, OASIS, American Women's Medical Association, TRIO Advisory Council

Why you chose Nebraska

I loved the environment, and the feeling of "Home" it gave me.
