The anthropology, biochemistry, biological sciences, chemistry, English, geology, history, mathematics, political science, psychology, and sociology programs at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln were named best in Nebraska in College Factual's 2019 Best for Non-Traditional Students rankings.
The organization specifies that the recognition is for both the program and the support given to students—which could include adults returning to school, part-time students, transfer students, online students, and others.
Additionally, two programs were recognized as being among the best in the nation. The biological sciences program is in the top 10%, or #36 out of 587, in the nation—up 7 from last year. The mathematics program is in the top 15%, or #39 out of 342, in the nation, up 1 from last year.
