The College of Arts and Sciences congratulates the 14 faculty who have been selected for leadership positions.

We would also like to thank those who served in these roles—we appreciate their leadership that contributed to the ongoing success of each area within the college.

Bureau for Sociological Research
Kristen Olson becomes director, succeeding director Jolene Smyth.

Center for Digital Research in the Humanities
Carrie Heitman becomes co-acting director.

Center for Great Plains Studies
Margaret Jacobs becomes director, succeeding director Rick Edwards.

Department of Classics and Religious Studies
Stephen Burnett and Robert Gorman become co-vice chairs. Dan Hoyt becomes interim chair, succeeding chair Stephen Lahey.

Department of Communication Studies
Jody Kellas becomes chair, succeeding chair Dawn O. Braithwaite.

Department of Modern Languages and Literatures
Nora Peterson becomes chair, succeeding chair Elizabeth Enkin.

David DiLillo becomes chair, succeeding chair Rick Bevins.
