Biochemistry major Carter Bracht earned a Student Leadership award from Student Involvement for demonstrating exemplary service, commitment, and strong leadership to advance the university and community through philanthropy, service, leadership, and academics.

It is one of the group's Student Impact Awards, which Student Involvement announced during the recent RSO Week.

"Carter's leadership style is decisive, organized, and impactful," Student Involvement said in a video announcement. "Carter is highly respected by his peers due to his work ethic and ability to complete tasks effectively and efficiently. He has given back to the community in many ways. He's been a UNL Inclusive Leadership Retreat Volunteer and has clocked over a thousand hours volunteering with various organizations. Carter has also participated in UCARE research, as a Dean's List student, and was a keynote speaker at Husker Dialogues, and has done so much more."
