Nebraska's College of Arts and Sciences will host CAS Week, a series of events celebrating the college's students, faculty, staff and alumni, March 4 through 8.

The college's Student Advisory Board organizes CAS Week to "bring together the college community and highlight the common interests of our interdisciplinary work," Anna Krause, a history major and the board's president, said.

"We want Wednesday's trivia night to bring students from multiple disciplines together and help them realize they are more worldly and experienced as a team," Erin Husmann, board member and global studies and communication studies major, said. "Coffee with CAS Professors will showcase professors' work within interdisciplinary fields and inspire students to broaden their interests within the college."

A fingerprint mural at the end of the week will help the college "celebrate its rich diversity and shared interests," Emma Lentsch, a board member with majors in global studies and political science, said. "We're asking: 'If you could pick a different CAS major besides your own, what would it be?' Students can place their fingerprint and a note on the mural organized in a tree theme and see other students' notes."

Students are encouraged to swipe their N Card at every event; each swipe is an entry into a raffle at the end of the week.
