What does graduating from Nebraska mean to you?
Graduating from Nebraska means that I have had a well-rounded experience that has prepared me for a multitude of situations in my career beyond college.

Transformational moments
When I look back on my experience at Nebraska, I will remember how I fell in love with my courses and how my professors allowed me to build connections with the content of the course. My global studies courses have helped me foster my curiosity about the world outside of Nebraska. With inspiration from my professors and a semester of study abroad experience in Spain, I have become more rounded in my knowledge about other people, cultures, and the world around me.

Campus involvement
Sustain UNL, Lincoln Literacy, Undergraduate Research

After graduation
I will be working at Pottawattamie Conservation as an Environmental Education Intern in Honey Creek, Iowa. I am most looking forward to further exploring the passions and interests I developed during college.

Thank you message
I would like to thank Emira Ibrahimpašić for the unwavering support and guidance she has provided for me throughout my entire undergraduate career. Her commitment to student success is something I have always been inspired by, and I so greatly appreciate the time, advice, and direction she has given me on my senior thesis. She is the backbone of the global studies department!
