What does graduating from Nebraska mean to you?
As a first generation student, graduating from Nebraska is an incredible gift. Receiving my degree means that I have and will continue to have access to opportunities I could have only dreamed of when I was growing up.

Transformational moments
In response to the pandemic, I helped start UNL MUNA, which provides immigrant and refugee families in Lincoln with cultural & need specific foods. Volunteering through UNL MUNA allowed me to learn more about cultures I hadn’t really encountered growing up in a small town, and it opened my eyes to the wellness & healthcare needs that exist even here in Lincoln.

Campus involvement
Co-President of UNL MUNA, President of AMSA, Husker Pantry volunteer, Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Department of Chemistry, member of Omicron Delta Kappa

After graduation
I will be attending the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha, NE to earn my M.D. I am most looking forward to applying my knowledge of science to help other people.

The best thing about being a Husker
The amazing connections you can make with other students.
