What does graduating from Nebraska mean to you?
Graduating from Nebraska is special to me because it is where I was born and raised. It was a really amazing experience to be able to learn at a great university that reflects Nebraska. The help I've gotten along the way to graduation has reassured me that Nebraska is supporting me and wants the best for me.

Involvement:

  • Love Your Melon Campus Crew
  • Pinky Swear Ambassadors on Campus for Kids with Cancer (President)
  • Kappa Kappa Gamma: Event chair & new member chair
  • Well-being coach (through UNL Big Red Resilience and Well-being)
  • Medlife (service trip to Peru)

Plans after graduation:
I am going to the University of Nebraska Medical Center-Omaha for accelerated nursing school. This is from January 2021-December 2021. I then hope to attend a nurse practitioner program in order to become a Reproductive (Fertility) Nurse Practitioner.

After graduation, I am most looking forward to continuing my education at yet another amazing Nebraska school.

The best thing about being a Husker is the constant support from teachers, friends, and family.

I want to thank my parents for the constant support and love they have given me. They have listened to every celebration and breakdown throughout college and felt every emotion with me. I would also like to thank my best friend Anna Swain, as she has been my backbone throughout college. Thanks to her, I never gave up. She was there for the 3 AM study nights, post-test celebration, and relaxing nights after a long week. I am so excited to continue our journey together at UNMC in January.
