Major: psychology
Across campus, Courtney plays clarinet in the Cornhusker Marching Band and is on the board of directors of the Student Alumni Association. She also worked as a research assistant in Dr. Bevins’ Behavioral Neuropharmacology lab and she is a member of Psi Chi.
After she graduates in May with a BS in psychology, Courtney will be attending Methodist Accelerated Nursing Program with the goal of becoming a psychiatric nurse practitioner.
Courtney says that her favorite thing about being a psychology student is “learning about how and why people think and behave the way that they do. Also, the psychology learning community I was a part of freshman year gave me lifelong best friends!”
