The most surprising thing about Nebraska:
"I've pretty much lived my entire life in Lincoln, so I was initially afraid that going to Nebraska would be too similar to high school and that I would quickly tire of campus life. I think one of the most surprising things about Nebraska is how there always seems to be something new to discover. I'll often go exploring in the Love Library basement or different colleges trying to find quiet places to study, and there are just so many to choose from. Outside of academics, the university offers so many different clubs, activities and programming for students. Although I initially had my fears and doubts about it, Nebraska's campus never ceases to amaze me."

On joining the University Program Council:
"Joining UPC Nebraska was easily one of the best decisions that I've made during my college career. It gave me a platform to positively impact our campus community and helped me to develop a sense of purpose and belonging here at UNL. It taught me so many different skills and habits that I was able to transfer to my academics. It connected me with some of the most passionate, kind, funny, and loving people on campus. It's where I met some of my best friends, mentors, and role models in college. For me, UPC Nebraska has truly been a home away from home."
