When you tell people you attend the University of Nebraska, how do you describe your school?
It’s like nothing you would expect. Often, it seems like people just think we all sit around and eat corn all day in Lincoln, and that cannot be further from the truth for me. I think Nebraska is a place full of a surprising amount of possibilities, as long as you find the right people to spend your days with. And there’s definitely no shortage of great people here.

How have you gotten involved on campus?
I joined PIKE my freshman year and made a huge amount of friends there. I also studied abroad in Spain last summer through UNL and that was an incredible experience for me. Additionally, I am a Learning Assistant for an Intro to Computer Science course, which has allowed me to connect with younger students and help them start their college experience off right.

What does being a Husker mean to you?
Being a Husker means making the best out of any situation, finding creative ways to spend the day, and taking advantage of any opportunity presented to you. If you push yourself and keep trying, you can reach great heights.
