Why did you apply to be an NSE leader?
I wanted to help incoming students transition here to campus and make memories with a great group of people.

Who has helped you be successful at Nebraska, and how?
My friend Libby Seline. She was a friend from highschool but has helped me in a multitude of ways such as being a study partner, confidant, and supporter of my
successes. She is truly one of my best friends.

When you tell people you attend the University of Nebraska, how do you describe it?
I say it is a home away from home. A place where I felt comfortable to grow as a person and felt welcomed. I am glad that I was able to go to UNL and experience the things that I have.

What does being a Husker mean to you?
Being a husker means always encouraging those around you to be their best whether this is a friend or a complete stranger.

How have you connected on campus?
Becoming a part of The Big Event has been a way I have connected to campus. Helping assist others in the community with students at UNL allows you to connect
with people all over campus. It shows that UNL comes together to help others.

Are you involved with any organizations on campus?
The Big Event, The Office of Academic Success and Intercultural Services, Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, ASUN student government.

Tell us about a memorable or impactful experience at Nebraska.
My time spent in Neihardt my freshman year. Although I did not live there I did spend a lot of time meeting future friends and making long lasting memories.

The best thing about Nebraska is
The way everyone feels welcome. Campus truly does feel like a home away from home.

Best advice to a new college student
Do not be afraid to take a different path than others. Success can look very different to everyone so measure success in your own way.
