New senators elected to UNL student government

University of Nebraska-Lincoln students elected a new slate of officers and senators this spring for the Association of Students of the University of Nebraska, the student government body. The students will represent their colleges or provide leadership for student government through April.

These Arts and Sciences students are filling ASUN government positions:

  • Audrey Beedle, senator, junior, global studies and political science
  • Jacob Ihnen, senator, sophomore, political science and classics and religious studies
  • Cassie Irwin, senator, junior, psychology
  • Leemah Nasrati, senator, junior, political science and global studies
  • Curtis Walker, senator, graduate student, atmospheric science
