Major: psychology
On campus, Rachel is the current President of Hillel Jewish Student Association and a member of SPECTRUM UNL, UNL Students for Planned Parenthood, the Nebraska Student Alumni Association, and the Emerging Leaders Scholarship program. Additionally, she's been a Husker Dialogues student facilitator for the past three years.
Rachel says that her favorite thing about being a psychology major is "learning about different people's experiences and perceptions. I also like looking at psychology through a 'Women's and Gender Studies' and 'Sexuality Studies' lens. I'm all about validating people's experiences and life situations as well." Rachel cites her favorite thing about Nebraska as the welcoming community and the sense of belonging she has found in her involvement.
