Michael Reinmiller, an education and outreach multimedia associate at Nebraska’s Center on Children, Families and the Law, is using a gift card received at the recent CAS Connections event to keep Little Free Pantry going in Lincoln.

LFP is a movement that "activates neighbor engagement of food insecurity" by encouraging neighborhoods to establish pantries that are stocked with items from anyone that can be used by anyone in need.

Reinmiller set up the city's first pantry about a year ago, and there are now more than a dozen across Lincoln. He restocks his pantry daily to keep up with demand.

His father-in-law, Jim Falk, built eight of the pantries and continues to make them:

Reinmiller began the position with CCFL in March and is thankful for the impact his work has on peoples' lives.
