Six undergraduate students in the College of Arts and Sciences were recognized by the college for their presentations at Nebraska Student Research Days, a weeklong celebration of student research and creative activity held online April 12-16.
The top six presenters were:

- Kaitlan W., political science and sociology, Mediating Asian-ness: How and why does Asian Identity Salience vary by Biracial Status?
- Zach H., biochemistry, Sports-related concussion differentially impacts functional brain networks in college athletes
- Lee P., political science and communication studies, Free to Hate: Hate Crimes' Intertwinement with the Evolution of Free Speech in the United States
- Elinor S., biochemistry, Role of the iron-sulfur cluster in human ferrochelatase in sensing changes in mitochondrial physiology
- Amr M., biochemistry, RBM7 Protein Purification and Structure Determination to Examine RBM7 Interaction With 7SK snRNA Upon Genotoxic Stress
Among 154 students who entered the video competition, 70 were CAS students. All of the presentations can be viewed on the student research days MediaHub channel.
