Why you chose your major

I majored in psychology because it was something that has always interested me! I am super passionate about research and attempting to understand people, and psychology has allowed for me to do this!

Favorite and/or most impactful course

PSYC-350 I loved Psyc 350 because I loved the way it challenged me to look at everything, especially research, differently. I also absolutely loved my professor!

Research or internship experience

I am overly involved in research (currently in 4 labs... yikes), but one lab I have absolutely loved being a part of is the Law and Public Policy Lab. The people in the lab have given me such wonderful advice both personally and professionally and have allowed me to work on some really cool projects!

Other involvement

I am involved in Greek Life, ASUN Student Government, the Cognitive Affective Neuroscience Lab, the Law and Public Policy Lab, the BAR Lab, the Effective Systematic Coaching in Childhood Literacy Lab, UCARE Research, the Psyched Up! Learning Community, Psi Chi, and the Undergraduate Psychology Organization!

Why you chose Nebraska

I came to Nebraska because, after extensive research, it was the best fit for me. It was a great school for psychology, and I knew that this place would easily become my happy place.
