Why you chose your major

I took a Brain and Behavior class that I learned a lot of interesting information in, so I decided to take more and more classes that I was excited to be learning about.

Favorite course

Psychology of Social Behavior with Dr. Gervais because she takes the times to get to know each of her students and the content is super interesting and applicable to my daily life!

Other involvement

Iron N Director, First Husker Peer Mentor, Study Stop Tutor, Member of the First Generation Advisory Board, Member of the Executive Vice Chancellor's Advisory Board, Vice President of the First-Generation Student Organization, and Student worker for the Explore Center and First Year Experience and Transition Offices

Why you chose Nebraska

As a first-generation college student, I wanted to go to a big university that would provide me with many opportunities while also being affordable. I chose UNL because they were the only school that I toured that made me feel as though I could belong and thrive in addition to earning an education towards something I enjoyed. It truly felt like home and they offered me a scholarship that would allow me to be able to afford college.

Student Ambassadors group

Student Ambassadors are undergraduate students who talk to prospective students, parents, alumni, and the general public about the college.
